KELTIC GHOST CLUB PFS

paranormal investigators

Hi every one !! Over the last few weeks ive been reading about all the “none profit paranormal teams” that advertise “the best night out” for only £15/£20/£60 …? I wonder what they pay the spirits? Yea you guessed it !!! Nothing. All they r doing is profiting on the money that can be made with no thought of the ppl they take to the site. K.G.C before we really got going went to a location with a well known uk paranormal group (with a so called medium) who didn’t even do any protection for the ppl there (we did ours before we got there) and was prolly the most unprofessional group ive ever come across.

So where does all this profit making stop? Why is it all about money? Why is it so easy for ppl to call them selves mediums when they r not? Why is there so much bad blood between the groups? I really don’t under stand because K.G.C and ONLY a few others are true none profit teams and we welcome other teams to the places we investigate and will pass over all out invest reports to help the teams wanting to invest the sites we have done.

K.G.C started off with a dream. A dream from our founder Keith. With lots of hard work and some culling of the original team we started to get things together. If any of you would like to start a group!!! Go for it. That’s the way we did it and if any one ever needs our help then we are only a email away. Lets try and get the profit out of ghost hunting and go out and do the thing we love. Its only the money hungry teams that r killing what we do.

Luv and light

Hi Sara and Danny,

Just caught both your comments on this topic and found them interesting. I have been an investigator for over 30 years now and Im also an international medium, and wow have things changed over the past few years with paranormal groups. They have sprung up all over the place and many have arisen because of media coverage of certain paranormal TV programmes and shows. Unfortunately, there are some that are just not doing justice to the true paranormal researchers image.

I personally feel that due to the huge success of 'paranormal tv' over the past 10 years and a particular programme, it has for one, opened up huge interest in the paranormal field, but at the same time has harmed the real work paranormal investigators do by sugar coating the imagery. The demand for locations that have been depicted on these programmes have risen dramatically and I certainly feel that the venue holders have realised the earning potential they can gain from having this upsurge of interest. Unfortunately the investigator now has to find silly amounts of cash to be able to afford to research the property, that, once apon a time was basically free to investigate! What doesnt help is the increase in paranormal tour companies - who have set the trend for extortonate costs - these are the the real bug bears for the researcher as less and less establishments are allowing small paranormal teams in to research when the venue know they can make a fast buck from public tours who are then claiming exclusivity to the venue.

I must add to a statement made on one of the posts that I believe there is NO professionals in the field of paranormal investigation, all we can do is act and carry out our investigations in a professional manner and gain respect that way - oh and show respect too!
I think that some groups these days have lost the true meaning of what they are supposed to be doing and that is to research the paranormal - and I mean, research. If we defined the term 'paranormal investigator' then Im sure you will agree that there are alot that are not truly paranormal investigators but mere spectators peeking into the field of paranormal investigating.

Unfortunately these days it is becoming more rare to be able to investigate large public buildings without cost to ourselves, maybe if all teams who are in it for the real reason and not just for profit boycott these venues then they would be more freely available to us as time goes by - who knows?

I am the founder of the UK-Paranormal investigation team in North Wales and I am very proud of my team for its thouroughness and professional attitude to the details of its investigation skills and thoughtful introduction to the paranormal to members of the general public when we have been required to do so. Many of my investigators have worked in the public domain for many years introducing members of the public to the skill of investigating and in all this time we have never charged for our services or profited in any way - but that's what its about.

The tour companies are usually businesses and they have a right to earn money same as the next man, but I hope they do this with thought and repect for the paranormal investigators amongst us.
In this time of recession Im suprised to see them still active to be honest.

Im sorry to hear Danny that you have apparently come across an 'unprofessional' team, but that's life Im afraid, and the greater energy will be the judge of all - not us - we should forgive and help show the way and we must remember there's good and bad in every walk of life.

Things will not change over night but in time things will evolve.

It would be lovely if someday soon Danny and Sara, that your respective teams will work with UK-Paranormal on a research location.

Regards to you all.

K.G.C give's 100% to the friendly paranormal groups. What we dont do is listen to all the fighting and bullshit that is going on in face book and my space. All this seems to be coming from the profit teams "all fighting over money" Im glad you found me out spoken because i dont mince my words. I stand by my post and so do the K.G.C Team (if we trun a blind eye how will it be stopped?)

Luv and light
